This page includes another side project which I have been working on - OmniTools. It adds two things; a wrench which works on BuildCraft, IndustrialCraft, MFFS, RailCraft, Forestry, MineFactory Reloaded, Universal Electricity, Thermal Expansion, and vanilla blocks.

Version 2.0.0 adds a new block as well - the Forge Lexicon. This block allows you to convert ore-dictionary enabled ores from one version to another. In theory this block is both overpowered and completely useless, depending on your point of view.

To clarify, this allows you to convert between EQUIVALENT items as defined by the Forge Ore Dictionary. For example, Forestry Bronze Ingots to IndustrialCraft Bronze Ingots, or Thermal Expansion's Silver Ore to Factorization's Silver Ore. There is no "cheating" unless a mod misuses the Ore Dictionary. This block only reads the Ore Dictionary, it does not change anything about it - so these ore equivalencies are already in your game!

Version 3.0.0 adds portable functionality to the Lexicon and changes the mechanics up a bit. :) To create the Block version of the Lexicon, create the Plinth and then place the Lexicon on top of it. To use the Lexicon directly from inventory, Sneak + Right Click.

Sneak + Right Clicking the Lexicon Block will remove the book and leave the Plinth behind. Another Sneak + Right Click will remove the Plinth as well.

Version 3.0.0 also changes how valid conversions are detemined - either a whitelist or blacklist model is used, and can be chosen in the config file. A default list will be generated if one is not present - you may then alter this list as you see fit for your own server.

Please remember that this mod is made possible by the modders who have released these APIs and enable this functionality, by Minecraft Forge, and the MCP team. Show them your support if you like this mod.
